MEC provides cargo forwarding, logistics, and shipping services between Saudi Arabia and the Philippines. Our Services include:

• Balikbayan Box Shipping: Door-to-door sea freight for personal boxes and household goods.
• Air Cargo: Priority air freight for time-sensitive shipments.
• Sea Freight: Consolidated container shipping for pallets and bulk items.
• Customs Clearance: Documentation handling and customs clearance support.
• Real-time Tracking: Online tracking of your shipments from pickup to delivery.

3. Account Registration

3.1 Account Creation

To use certain features of our Services, you must register for an account. You agree to provide accurate, complete, and current information during registration and to update it as necessary.

3.2 Account Security

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.

3.3 Age Requirement

You must be at least 18 years old to register for an account and use our Services. By creating an account, you represent that you meet this age requirement.

4. Booking and Payments

4.1 Booking Process

To book a shipment, you must provide accurate information about the sender, consignee, and shipment contents. You are responsible for ensuring that all information provided is correct and complete.

4.2 Pricing and Fees

All prices are displayed in Saudi Riyals (SAR) unless otherwise stated. Prices are subject to change without prior notice. Final charges may include additional fees such as customs duties, insurance, and storage fees.

4.3 Payment Terms

Payment must be made in full before shipment. We accept various payment methods including credit/debit cards, bank transfers, and cash payments at our branches.

4.4 Taxes and Duties

You are responsible for any taxes, customs duties, or import/export fees applicable to your shipment. These fees are not included in our service charges unless explicitly stated.

5. Shipment Policies

5.1 Packaging Requirements

All shipments must be properly packaged to withstand normal handling during transit. MEC is not responsible for damage caused by inadequate packaging.

5.2 Delivery Timeframes

Delivery timeframes are estimates only and are not guaranteed. Actual delivery times may vary due to customs delays, weather conditions, or other unforeseen circumstances.

5.3 Tracking and Notifications

You will receive a tracking number upon booking. You can track your shipment through our website or mobile app. We may also send you email or SMS notifications about your shipment status.

5.4 Insurance

Shipment insurance is available for an additional fee. If you purchase insurance, coverage is subject to the terms and conditions of our insurance policy. Claims must be filed within 7 days of delivery.

6. Prohibited Items

The following items are strictly prohibited from being shipped through our Services:

• Illegal Substances: Drugs, narcotics, and other controlled substances.
• Hazardous Materials: Explosives, flammable liquids, corrosive substances, and radioactive materials.
• Firearms and Ammunition: Weapons, ammunition, and firearm parts.
• Perishable Goods: Food items requiring temperature control, live animals, and plants.
• Counterfeit Goods: Fake or pirated products, including counterfeit currency and brand-name items.
• Valuable Items: Cash, precious metals, negotiable instruments, and bearer bonds.

MEC reserves the right to refuse any shipment containing prohibited items. Violations may result in account termination and legal action.

7. Liability and Disclaimers

7.1 Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, MEC is not liable for:

• Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
• Loss of profits, revenue, or business opportunities.
• Damage or loss due to events beyond our control (force majeure).
• Errors in shipping information provided by you.

7.2 Service Availability

We strive to ensure our Services are available 24/7, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may suspend or terminate access to our Services at any time for maintenance, security, or other reasons.

Our Services may include links to third-party websites or services. We are not responsible for the content, privacy practices, or terms of service of these third parties.

8. Intellectual Property
